Its time to brace 'em
For those who are wondering what I am talking about, yeah, what I meant is I'm gonna put on braces for good. Since I was 20, I have been having the idea of having braces on, I'm one of the unfortunate human being whoose teeth aren't that straight. I should have put braces on since then but I was always worried and afraid of the pain, hence, I kept on delaying it.
Finally this year, I made a huge decision of having them on. So the process started, my teeth getting X-rayed, then the moulding process and then the painful part comes, which is the extraction.
Five teeth have to be extracted, two of my lateral incisors, two of my canines and then one more tooth at the back, which had grown right beside one of my molar.
Two weeks ago, before my canines are extracted, my gum was injected with anaesthetic. I could feel a slight sharp pain during the injecting process and later on, my lips seems to be feeling really swollen and bulky. But the true fact is that, it looks just as per normal. :P Later on, he extracted two of my canines.
The after effect was quite overwhelming, as a result, I survived on porridge for four days. Yesterday, the dentist extracted two of my lateral incisors and then the tooth just next to my first molars. This time during the injection process, I could really feel the needle protruding my upper gum. The dentist kept on asking me if I was doing ok as he told me he saw tears in my eyes.
After the extraction, I collected the medication, made the payment of freaking $150 and took a cab home. I felt shitty when I reached home because I could practically tasted blood all over my mouth, I felt like Count Dracula! lol
I changed the gauze and took the painkillers. I felt a throbbing pain on my upper gum, I lightly tap on it with my tongue and felt a huge hole. :( It was very painful, the after effect I mean. I was kinda upset yesterday thinking why do I have to go thru all these... but then looking at the more positive side, I will eventually have somewhat perfect teeth later on :) ... so I guess in order to gain something, one has to tolerate the pain a'lil right.
N ouh, I took pix of my teeth, hehe...kinda gross I know but I was somewhat surprised just looking at the shapes of these teeth.. lol
