Jealousy...is it good or bad?
Jealousy...is it good or bad? Some labelled jealousy as the green-eyed monster.
Why do one gets jealous?? Some people get jealous over their classmates who achieved better results than them. Jealousy may arise among colleagues when it comes to Appraisal time!! Picture this scene, you have always find that one of your colleague is a lazy worker yet he/she get pay raise and you find it very unfair and you may gossip about it. Yes it is unfair but think about it, when you get jealous, you start to feel bad, you turned green with envy and then that's where it all begins. Gossip among the colleagues, making sour faces at the 'lazy worker' and etc...which later on may cause some unhappiness or even arguements.
All in all, most people get jealous when they are in a relationship. Some of you may disagree but trust me,it does happens, sometimes even without one realising it. But, is being jealous in a relationship good thing or bad? Picture this scene in a relationship. She loves him alot and she is not willing to let any other girls get near him. She gets jealous when she sees him looking at sexy babes. On the other hand, the guy may gets jealous when he found out she went out for lunch with her male co-worker. OR he gets jealous when he spotted her smsing a male guy friend. The bottom line is, sometimes we get jealous almost naturally,we sensed something and get jealous right away. Ok,back to my question,is jealousy good or bad in a relationship(and I am talking about a long-term relationship). Well, to me, it is not wrong, its natural, when you really love someone, you just feels that he/she belongs to you(but of course there are limits, you got to be a lil understanding as well and you cant caged him/her up).
Ponder on this, a couple, the guy and the girl are very open-minded, they are understanding and they love each other alot. And they never get jealous, no, not at all. Well at first maybe things will be yeah..fine..its good you know ... no jealousy.. no confrontations, no sulking. But as days goes by, one of them will start to get bored, because jealousy actually makes one feel cared. You may not believe me and like I have said, some may not even realise it. Simply,put it this way, the bf gets unhappy when the gf went out for lunch with some gorgeous male colleague of hers. The gf will tend to feel,"Hey, he's jealous." She feels that way not in anger but its a nice feeling. Of course don't get too extremely jealous and resort to breaking up with him/her. Same goes for the guy, he has this female friend who is gorgeous, always very fashionable and even though she is just a friend, his girlfriend gets jealous and she wanted to be better than her just so that she could please him. So she made changes and yeah...she is looking wayyy better now,much more fashionable,which is good change for her. Sometimes jealousy does comes in handy,if you know what I mean ;)
Overall, I feel that jealousy is not such a bad thing, when you feel jealous of someone or whatever it is, you should not think of all the extremely evil ways to get rid of that someone or even to just let go of that someone. Instead, take it as a challenge,find ways to overcome that jealousy feeling for you might never know,it may not always stays as a green-eyed monster forever :)

BUZZ!!
Guess whos back??!! Back again...Zuli's back!!! Tell a friend!! ( lol ..ok that was lame)
Gawd...it feels like a year since I last blog!
Yes, I have been very busy. Moreover, it was the festive season, been busy visiting places and been busy eating! oopss.. ;P
& have I told you yet??! Ive got a job!! Well..errmm actually 3 jobs but finally I managed to evaluate them and came to a decision. I chose a job which is totally something new to me, I have never done anything related to this line before. It is a great challenge to me. Been working for nearly a week now, love the people(even though I didn't really mixed around much,well I just believe in "Be good, be enthusiastic but don't talk too much" )
Anyway like what I was saying, yeah, been working at the new place for a week now, nice environment, good scenery, the SG flyer...n we are located on the 17th floor..kinda high...
My bosses are real good people, very open-minded sorta...
Plus, every staff is encourage to log on to Skype, MSN, Google Talk, YM... :D
But but but, my job ain't easy, its pretty complicated and totally mind-boggling at times,plus I have to be almost perfect, meticulous and whatever you call it. Seriously. It's going good, like Ive said..very challenging..
